30 Adult Pallid Sturgeons Captured in Broodstock Collection in RPMA 2

Crews from MTFWP Fort Peck, USGS Fort Peck and USFWS Bismarck completed a four-day targeted brood stock collection effort this past week.  A total of 30 adult pallid sturgeon were captured in the Yellowstone River. 

 

One female and three males were taken to Garrison Dam NFH for spawning.  Depending on the flows we may attempt another effort the first week of June.
